When one family member is experiencing mental, physical, or social health concerns, it can affect the entire family.
At Mates4Mates, we know that spouses, partners and children of veterans and current-serving members can often experience their own health challenges as a result of military life. But we are here to help you.
Our services are available for immediate family members of current or ex-serving Defence Force personnel who are looking to reconnect and recover.
Whether you are looking for support from our mental health or physical rehabilitation team, or seeking community through our social connection activities, Mates4Mates provides families with the support you need to move forward.
If you are a spouse, partner or child of a veteran, you can access Mates4Mates services at any time, regardless of if the veteran is accessing Mates4Mates services or not.
Many of our social connection activities are tailored to families, with community BBQs and school holiday programs available at each of our locations. You will also meet other families who often share your experiences and understand the challenges that Defence families face.
